This website to accompany the book contains a student section and a teachers’ section.
The student section contains
The multiple-choice questions would probably be used most effectively as revision exercises once students have finished the topic. The worksheets should benefit all students and can be used as routine parts of any lesson, though you might regard some as extension activities for the most able or the keenest students. There’s also a searchable glossary to help students get to grips with key sociological concepts.
The teachers’ section includes
- Solutions to the activities in the book
- solutions to the multiple choice, matching and gap-fill activities on the student side of the site
- suggested lesson plans
- graphics from the book (such as diagrams and graphs) to be incorporated into overheads, PowerPoint slides or handouts.
